QUEENSLAND workers could benefit from changes to skilled migration rules, but businesses would still need access to highly qualified and experienced foreign workers to compete globally, according to industry leaders. Tech start-up entrepreneur and investor Steve Baxter said immigration policy should be directed towards attracting highly skilled workers with experience operating on a global scale.
