Last month, we invited founders from the Transition Level Investments portfolio to Reflections at Lake Cooby, 2 hours west of Brisbane for a two day getaway conference.

The theme of the conference was ‘unplug – reflect – connect’. With limited mobile reception at the venue, our founders took a brief break from their emails to spend two days reflecting on the startup journey and connecting with other founders.

The life of a founder certainly has its challenges.   We have seen first hand, the toll long work hours and unrelenting pressure can take on founders’ mental health and wellbeing.   The main aim of the conference was to give founders’ an opportunity to connect with others who have faced similar challenges.

We were very fortunate to have exceptional speakers join us at Lake Cooby. They graciously shared their personal experiences with the group.
